Righteous by Kevin Sheller

I’ve been reading comic books for several years now. I’ve read a lot of mainstream comics, and have enjoyed it. Over the past couple of years, my comic book tastes have been evolving. I look for the more obscure, lesser known comic books that sometimes don’t earn much more than just enough money to cover printing costs.

I have found one such comic, Both Feet Productions comic book “Righteous”. Creator, Writer and Producer Kevin Sheller has produced a wonderful start of a webcomic series. In his own words, the idea for the comic book series Righteous came about by asking the simple question “What would happen if everyone suddenly woke up, committed to helping others?”

STOP

The comic book series starts with Daniel Price, a risk manager for American Motors, who is given an account of a lifetime. Together with his business partner, Jen, they are poised to make a name for themselves in the most important deal that American Motors has had in its history.

That night, while dreaming of what must only be $$ and a solid career, he was visited by a spirit that implanted in him the desire to help others constantly. While this may seem like a great gift to have, it begins to negatively impact his performance at work. Will his career survive? Or will he find himself like the homeless bum sitting next to his car in the beginning of the series?

One thing is for sure, I am excited to see what happens next. If you happen to find yourself looking for a good quick comic book read, Both Feet Productions “Righteous” is the book for you. It’s positive message provides some much needed hope that there still is some good in this world.
