Review: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D “Orientation” Part 1 and 2

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back and it reminds me of what a good comic book show is. With a lot of poor shows this season, it’s refreshing to watch a great show. Episode 1 was a beautifully done TV length call back to Alien and films like it. The team was being hunted by monsters called Roaches and they were unsure what was going on the entire time.

The mystery and intrigue added to this spectacular two part episode. The masked man, the fact that the S.H.I.E.L.D agents were zapped into a new situation and completely confused, and the discovery of that they are in the future all add to this spectacular two part episode.

I was honestly blown away by how well the episode went. Between special effects, makeup and acting, it was a masterful episode. It didn’t have the same level of quality as a film but it was high quality for TV. I found myself wanting more as I finished and was glad episode 3 was already out. Now I anxiously await the next episode and seeing the next part of the journey.

If you aren’t watching Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. change your poor behavior instantly. Get caught up and enjoy this show with us. Inhuman’s was embarrassingly bad but Marvel still has a good show here. Season one is clunky for the first half but it gets so much better. Give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed.
